Dr. Christine Boston, professor of anthropology at Lincoln University, will explore incidences of solar eclipses as they have occurred in antiquity, addressing how they affected cultural ideology, inspired solar predictions and scientific inquiry, fed into mythology, and
influenced individuals' power.
